Isola explore la notion de féminin et le motif de l’île en tant que territoire physique et psychique propre à l’intime. L’île éveille un imaginaire de nature brute, sauvage, vierge et puissante. C’est à la fois un espace d’isolement et refuge ; s’y trouvent réunies une part de vulnérabilité qu’il s’agit d’accueillir comme une grâce, et la force sondée dans les profondeurs de soi. L’image se forme comme un ensemble kaléidoscopique constitué de parties assemblées – comme l’est probablement tout paysage intérieur, voire toute réalité.
Isola explores the notion of feminity and the topic of the island as a physical and psychic territory that might be related to the intimate. The island awakens an imaginary of raw, wild, virgin and powerful nature. It is both a space of isolation and refuge; are united there a part of vulnerability that must be welcomed as a grace, and the strength probed in the depths of oneself . The image is formed as a kaleidoscopic whole made up of assembled parts – as is probably any interior landscape, or even all realities.
